What is FFX?

FF Experience is a 3-month mission experience comprised of two parts; Outreach and Lecture. It provides an opportunity for you to grow in your relationship with Jesus, receive practical missions training, and be sent out to reach the lost. Join us to get trained and activated in your passions, skills, and the culture of Jesus.

  • Lecture Phase - Live in community, reach Halifax with the gospel. each week study new topics like, God’s character, hearing his voice, kingdom living, field training and so much more.

  • Outreach - FF has a focus on reaching the most unreached people groups, your outreach experience will take place in a nation with urgent gospel need.

FFX RHYTHMS

  • LIVING IN COMMUNITY

    During your FFX, you will be living in an FF community house with other students, as well as FF Halifax staff. This will serve as one of the many ways you will be shaped and discipled throughout the FFX, as we build a community devoted to the pursuit of Jesus.

  • TRAINING

    The FFX includes an in-depth lecture phase designed to help you grow in your understanding of God, His character and nature, while also deepening your personal relationship with Him. Throughout this phase, you’ll be equipped with practical tools to share the gospel wherever God calls you. Each week focuses on a different topic, with trusted voices from around the world coming in to teach and invest in your growth.

  • PRAYER AND WORSHIP

    FFX has a strong focus on worship and intercession. We will meet daily as a community to devote time to seeking God’s presence through prayer and worship. Our one desire is to seek Him.

  • LOCAL MINISTY

    As FF Halifax, we have faith to see every neighbourhood in the Maritimes with a thriving Christian community. During the FFX, you will take part in our local ministries to reach the lost and the broken in our region of Canada and the city of Halifax.

  • NATIONS

    FFX offers a hands-on cross-cultural outreach. As a community, we will be sent out in teams to the nations. FFX has a strong focus on reaching the most unreached peoples of the world with the message of the gospel.

IMPORTANT INFO

    • Arrival Day, September 23rd 2026

    • Training in Halifax, September 23rd - Nov 15th

    • Nations Outreach, November 15th - December 12th

    • Debrief, December 12th - 18th

    • Graduation, December 19th

    • Training Tuition: $3,250 CAD

    • Outreach Fee: $2750 CAD

    • Deposit: $500 CAD

      Food in Halifax, spending money and transportation to arrive and depart from FFX is not included in tuition.


  • Food is not provided in Halifax, expect to raise an extra amount on top of the total cost to pay for your food during FF Experience.

    Food is provided during outreach and part of your outreach fees.

  • You will be placed into a FF Halifax community house, where we will live together, make crazy memories, and grow in our relationship with Jesus. Rent is included in the tuition cost.

    Housing on outreach is covered by the outreach fees.

  • We encourage you to bring your car to the FF Experience if you are able. If you do not have a car that you are able to bring then you can expect to help chip in for gas with those you frequently ride with.
